Meet the Millers – a family of entrepreneurs and adventure seekers. Mat, a skilled electrician and veteran of the Iowa National Guard, founded MillTech Electric, a thriving electrical contracting company serving the Ames area. His expertise in commercial and industrial preventive maintenance, safety, and service has made MillTech a go-to choice for businesses in the region. In addition to his electrical company, Mat also founded ICanna LLC in 2020, a company specializing in hemp-based products. Mat’s wife, Amy, is the owner and operator of Salon Bonita, a popular hair salon in Ames. Together, the couple have two young daughters, Haven and Abilene, whom they love to take on outdoor adventures like boating, fishing, and exploring the great outdoors. The Millers are a dynamic and motivated family, driven by their passions for business and adventure.
