Our Grower, French Creek Organic Farm
Located in Lansing, Iowa, French Creek Organic Farm is a fifth-generation family farm owned by Andy Leppert. It has been farmed organically since the late ’70s when Andy’s father realized the benefits of organic farming to the soil and the environment. Since then, the Leppert family has stayed committed to these practices.
In 1994 they became a member of Organic Valley in LaFarge, Wisconsin, and received their first organic certification and have been organically certified ever since. In 2013 they transitioned away from organic dairy to diversify their field crops. In 2020 when Iowa approved hemp production, it was only natural for Andy to add it to his farm.
